In a statement, CAIR-NY Communications Coordinator Rabea Ali said:

“CAIR-NY continues to demand an end to the ethnic cleansing and genocide in Gaza. The Beacon City Council’s action for an immediate, permanent, and negotiated multilateral ceasefire is a critical step in supporting Muslims and Palestinians both in Beacon and in Gaza. We call on Congress and the White House to do the same and end the ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian people.”

CAIR-NY's mission is to protect civil rights, enhance understanding of Islam, promote justice, and empower American Muslims.

La misión de CAIR-NY es proteger las libertades civiles, mejorar la comprensión del Islam, promover la justicia, y empoderar a los musulmanes en los Estados Unidos.
