CAIR, CAIR-NY Encourages Mass Turnout at NYC Rally Against Gaza Genocide on Aug. 16th
(NEW YORK, NY, 8/13/25) - The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and its New York chapter (CAIR-NY) today encouraged all those who oppose genocide and support Palestinian human rights to turn out for an August 16 ‘Stop Starving Gaza” rally against Israel’s genocide in Gaza sponsored by the ANSWER Coalition.
In a statement, CAIR said:
"We encourage people across the New York City area and beyond to join this protest against the Israeli government's genocide in Gaza and the Trump administration's support for it. Public polls clearly show that most Americans oppose this genocide and it's time for our elected officials to catch up to the American people."
