Noora Lahoud

Volunteer Recruitment and Management Civic Corps Member

Noora Lahoud is the Volunteer Recruitment and Management Civic Corps Member for CAIR-NY. She is a Palestinian-American born and raised in New York City. Noora is a recent graduate from Boston University with a B.A. in Economics and a minor in Philosophy. During her academic career, she has worked on multiple research projects where she collected, cleaned, and analyzed data for a statistical economics research project that analyzed the effects of political stability and absence of violence on refugee populations. Noora has previously interned at MA’AN Development Center and the Institute for Palestine Studies where she participated in multiple research projects relating to human rights and social justice. In her free time, Noora enjoys practicing tatreez (Palestinian embroidery), bouldering, and she loves her bike.
