CAIR-NY Condemns Antisemitic Vandalism in Queens

(NEW YORK, NY, 03/24/2023) - The New York chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-NY), today condemned multiple incidents of antisemitic vandalism in Queens.  

The alleged perpetrator vandalized six separate locations, in both Forest Hills & Rego Park.

“Vandalism carrying hateful messaging is more than destruction to property. It is an act that tears away at the fabric of a healthy, pluralistic society. Bigotry targeting any faith group is abhorrent, and has no place in our vibrant communities," said CAIR-NY Executive Director Afaf Nasher

She added CAIR-NY and the American Muslim community stand in solidarity with all those challenging anti-Jewish hatred, anti-Black racism, xenophobia, Islamophobia, white supremacy, and all other forms of bigotry.
