Black Lives Matter Greater New York is hosting a Youth Activism Fair and Community BBQ on Sunday the 17th of September.
The BBQ is intended to engage the families and youth of Queens in community activism. BLM Greater New York believes it’s important to let the often-underserved community of Jamaica know that social and political organizations have not forgotten them, that their concerns are important and their engagement in the issues that impact their lives is crucial.
CAIR-NY will be participating by tabling and providing face painting services.
