(NEW YORK, NY, 7/5/2022)—Today, the New York chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-NY), along with representatives of the local Muslim community, Suffolk County District Attorney’s office, and the Suffolk County Police Commissioner’s office, will hold a press conference to address yesterday’s reported firebombing of Masjid Fatima Al-Zahra in Ronkonkoma, N.Y.

According to Suffolk County police, the firebombing incident took place early Monday morning, when the perpetrators threw a canister filled with combustible materials at the mosque, causing an explosion and damaging one of its signs.
