CAIR-NY Condemns Violent, Anti-Jewish Assault on a Brooklyn Man, Urges Swift NYPD Response

(NEW YORK, N.Y. 5/7/2022) — The New York chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-NY) today condemned a heinous, bigoted assault upon a 32-year-old man that occurred Friday afternoon in Brooklyn’s Crown Heights neighborhood.

The assailant allegedly walked over to the victim and began punching and kicking him while shouting hateful, anti-Jewish slurs. He then fled on foot but was later spotted by surveillance cameras.
