(NEW YORK, NY, 05/06/19) — The New York chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-NY), a leading Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today condemned the bias-motivated attack on a Jewish, Hasidic man in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

According to reports, a Hasidic man, wearing religious attire, was confronted by a group of men and without saying a word one of the men punched the victim in the face.  Another man in the group, shouted anti-Semitic slurs, including “you (expletive) Jew!”

The NYPD Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating the incident.
