Know Your Rights
Schedule a "Know Your Rights" workshop
CAIR–NY is available to offer free training workshops on how to exercise your rights under the United States and New York Constitutions. These practical sessions review how you can respond in real-world encounters with law enforcement.
Supporting Victims of Hate
CAIR–NY frequently works with victims of violence, discrimination, and harassment to access services, gain representation, and secure justice. Whether you're the victim of a hate crime, workplace discrimination, school bullying, or some other form of bias, CAIR–NY may be able to help. Please contact us to speak to one of our attorneys and learn about our range of services.
End Discriminatory Policing
CAIR–NY actively fights the NYPD's discriminatory investigations of the Muslim community. We worked to end the department's unconstitutional "Demographics Unit," and we remain a vocal opponent of the NYPD Intelligence Bureau's sweeping surveillance of law-abiding members of the Muslim community.
CAIR–NY is working to counter the alarming increase in anti-Muslim bullying. We work to prevent, identify, and respond to these heartbreaking experiences.
CAIR–NY is a vocal opponent of those who seek to spread hatred and lies about the Muslim Community. CAIR–NY believes Islamophobia in the United States is a contemporary manifestation of the prejudice that has plagued our nation since its earliest days. Please contact us if you have witnessed Islamophobia.
