CAIR–NY actively fights the NYPD's discriminatory investigations of the Muslim community.  We worked to end the department's unconstitutional "Demographics Unit," and we remain a vocal opponent of the NYPD Intelligence Bureau's sweeping surveillance of law-abiding members of the Muslim community.
