CAIR-NY: Targeted Muslim Women Should Come Forward

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) - The Council of American-Islam Relations is now urging two young women to come forward and file a police report.

This push comes after an eyewitness says she saw a group of men pelt them with eggs near Lafayette High School Monday.  That eyewitness claims the teens were targeted because of their religious dress.

"At the end of the day, these are young women," said Sadyia Khalique, Director of Operations for CAIR-NY. "These are children. These are innocent victims. No faith, no religion will ever allow for the attacks on the innocent."
