One year ago, the NY City Council unanimously said YES to adding two major Muslim holidays to the public school calendar.

Over 80 civic, labor, & religious groups came together & said YES!

UFT, DC 37, 32BJ all said YES!

All five borough presidents, the Comptroller, and Public Advocate said YES!

Mayor Bloomberg has received thousands of letters from constituents and just as many phone calls to his office all saying YES!

Unfortunately, the Mayor has not gotten the message. In fact, he has told us NO!
