MEDIA ADVISORY: CAIR-NY to Join Sikh Coalition and Civil Rights Allies for Day of Action Against Hate in Richmond Hill, Queens

(NEW YORK, N.Y., 06/23/22)—On Friday, June 24, the New York chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-NY) will join the Sikh Coalition and other civil rights allies in a Day of Action against hate in response to the growing violence against members of the Sikh community.  

Other organizations scheduled to attend include: 

  • Asian American Federation 

  • Community Development Corporation (Chhaya) 

  • NYC Office for the Prevention of Hate Crimes (OPHC) 

  • Soar Over Hate 

  • South Queens Women’s March
