(NEW YORK, NY, 5/27/2022)—The New York chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-NY) today condemned an Islamophobic verbal assault targeting a 44-year-old man in Brooklyn’s Flatbush neighborhood.

According to police, the unprovoked hate incident took place on Sunday evening near the corner of Rogers and Clarkson avenues. The unidentified assailant hurled anti-Muslim insults at the victim, then quickly fled the scene. He remains at large.
